SEOUL, Nov. 3 (Yonhap) -- Singer Kim Jong-seo will release his new single "You'll Shine (Start Again)" at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Red Black Entertainment said.

The new song is a remake of "Start Again," a track from his 1998 full-length album, reinterpreted with a modern sound.

The original song, released amid the 1997-98 Asian financial crisis and International Monetary Fund bailout, encouraged people to find the courage to rise again. It has now been reborn as a new anthem of support for young people enduring the challenges of everyday life.

Kim Jong-seo will hold a Christmas concert at Mary Hall of Sogang University in Seoul's Mapo-gu on Dec. 25.
