SEOUL, Jan. 25 (Yonhap) - Singer Tae-yang and group BTS member Jimin's new song "VIBE" has entered the U.S. Billboard main single chart “Hot 100” at 76th place for the first time.

According to a chart preview article released on Tuesday, “VIBE” has recorded 4.2 million streams and 20,000 downloads in the U.S.

The song has ranked first in "World Digital Song Sales" and second in "Digital Song Sales" of all genres. In the 'Billboard Global' survey which does not include the U.S., it settled in the top 10.

"VIBE" is a song that describes the subtle excitement felt toward a lover, characterized by the natural harmony of the voices of Taeyang and Jimin. In addition to participating in the song as a featured artist, Jimin also appeared in the music video and worked with Taeyang.

As a result, BTS has succeeded in crossing the threshold of the U.S. Billboard "Hot 100" with all seven members in solo. They are the first in K-pop history to have all the members listed on the "Hot 100" as soloists.

Since member J-Hope ranked 81st with "Chicken Noodle Soup" in 2019, Sugar (August D)’s "Daechwita" (76th, 2020), V’s "Christmas Tree" (79th, 2022), Jung Kook’s "Stay Alive" (95th, 2022), Jin’s "The Astronaut" (51st, 2022), and RM’s "Wild Flower" (83rd, 2022) ranked in “Hot 100” in order.

Since then, Jungkook and Suga have enterered the "Hot 100" collaborating with Charlie Puth and Juice WRLD, PSY respectively. J-Hope was also listed on the chart with his official solo album tracks "MORE" and "ARSON."
