SEOUL, Oct. 29 (Yonhap) -- CJ Olive Young said Thursday it will open its Seongsu branch of "Olive Better," a wellness curation platform, on Oct. 30.

The store in Seongsu-dong, eastern Seoul, spans four floors from the basement to the third floor, with a sales area of 185 pyeong (610 square meters), making it the largest of all Olive Better stores.

Olive Young has been expanding its wellness business by opening a total of five stores, beginning with its Gwanghwamun branch in January this year.

The Seongsu branch focuses on expanding experiential spaces so customers can directly experience wellness products and develop healthy habits in their daily lives, rather than simply purchasing products.

On the first floor, the store features "Better Bar," which combines wellness foods into beverages. Through menu items such as protein shakes and teas, customers can experience different ways of consuming various wellness foods.

The store will also feature "Sweets Library," a selection of low-sugar, zero-sugar and vegan snacks, as well as a sauna-themed space focused on bathing and body care.

Products for everyday health management, including gua sha tools and oral care products, are arranged alongside displays connecting inner beauty products, functional skin care and beauty devices.

Through the Seongsu branch, Olive Young plans to introduce wellness products to young consumers and foreign tourists, while continuing to discover promising small and medium-sized brands and expand South Korea's wellness industry ecosystem by opening more flagship stores in major commercial districts.

Meanwhile, Olive Young will collaborate with the Seoul Morning Coffee Club and the Seoul Metropolitan Government to hold a wellness event combining music and movement in Seoul Forest on Nov. 7.
