SEOUL, Aug. 13 (Yonhap) -- Cosmetics original development and manufacturing company Cosmax will operate a joint booth with 20 small beauty brands at "Musinsa Beauty Festa in Seongsu," to be held in Seongsu-dong, eastern Seoul, from Aug. 21-23, the company said Thursday.

The exhibition is part of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' 2026 support program for expanding sales channels for small manufacturers, in which fashion platform Musinsa is participating.

Selected as a beauty-sector partner, Cosmax will provide 20 selected domestic small beauty brands with annual sales of 12 billion won or less with support in product planning and manufacturing, marketing consultations and brand development.

The joint booth, themed "Secret Laboratory," will recreate the process from cosmetic research and development to production. It will feature an "Archive Zone," where the product research process will be presented through content, and a "Brand Zone," showcasing representative products from the participating brands.

An "Event Zone" will offer products or trial samples from the participating brands, while a "Photo Zone" will recreate a cosmetics laboratory.

Cosmax will also operate a separate booth in the outdoor area of "Musinsa Empty Seongsu" from Aug. 20-22, featuring visitor participation events and product giveaways.

Content introducing the booth, its programs and new products from participating brands will be released sequentially on Cosmax's official Instagram account.

"We planned the joint booth exhibition to expand consumer touchpoints for promising small K-beauty brands and support their early-stage growth," a Cosmax official said.
