SEOUL, Oct. 2 (Yonhap) -- YG Entertainment said it started its traveling cultural event "Project Your Side" in Gunsan, North Jeolla Province on Friday for a four-day run.

"Project Your Side" is YG Entertainment's social contribution program aimed at narrowing the cultural gap concentrated in the Seoul metropolitan area.

The Gunsan event marks the program's sixth stop, following Wanju, North Jeolla Province, in 2022, as well as Gyeongsan, North Gyeongsang Province; Chungju, North Chungcheong Province; Wonju, Gangwon Province; and Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province.

The event will feature an exhibition showcasing albums and merchandise by YG artists from different eras, as well as actual stage costumes worn by BABYMONSTER and TREASURE.

Various hands-on programs will also be offered, including light stick-making incorporating artificial intelligence technology and media art, and a one-day dance class with professional dancers.

Following the main event, a permanent exhibition will be held from Oct. 8-31 at Gunsan Port 1981, a cultural complex in the old downtown area of Gunsan.
