SEOUL, July 31 (Yonhap) -- LG Household & Health Care (LG H&H) said Friday it received two Red Dot Design Award 2026 honors, with its The History of Whoo APEC Hwanyu State Gift Set and The Crème Shop rebranding project both winning in their respective categories.

 

The awards mark the fifth consecutive year that LG H&H has been recognized at the prestigious international design competition.

 

The "The History of Whoo APEC Hwanyu State Gift Set" won in the packaging design category. The set was presented as the official gift to world leaders during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit held in Gyeongju in October last year.

 

It is the third Red Dot Design Award for The History of Whoo, following previous honors for the The History of Whoo Brand Book in 2018 and the The History of Whoo Royal Art Gift Package in 2024.

 

The Crème Shop, a subsidiary of LG H&H's U.S. unit, also received a Red Dot Award in the Brands & Communication Design category for its brand identity redesign.

 

The rebranding introduced "Cremoji," an emoji-inspired brand character designed to resonate with Generation Z and Generation Alpha consumers while creating a unified identity across the company's product lineup.

 

"The Red Dot Design Award is especially meaningful because it recognizes both the rich heritage of Korea's royal court culture and the vibrant energy of K-beauty on the global design stage," an LG H&H official said.
