SEOUL, Nov. 6 (Yonhap) -- South Korean band Skipjack released a remake of "I Don't Know Why I'm Here," a track from Sanullim's 13th studio album, at noon Friday as part of a project celebrating the veteran rock band's 50th anniversary.
The remake is the 40th single in the "Sanullim 50th Anniversary Project," launched by Kim Chang-hoon, bassist of the legendary rock band, ahead of the group's 50th anniversary next year.
Kim is leading the project, under which younger musicians are remaking 50 Sanullim songs by the anniversary next year.
Written and composed by Kim, "I Don't Know Why I'm Here" is characterized by rebellious and pessimistic chord progressions and lyrics, Kim's distinctive vocal style, and the recurring lines, "You just live as you live / You just die as you die."
