SEOUL, Sept. 30 (Yonhap) -- Winter of K-pop girl group aespa did not take part in the group's concert in Dallas on Tuesday (local time) after being diagnosed with shingles.

 

SM Entertainment said Wednesday on Weverse, a fan communication platform, that Winter "strongly wanted to participate in the scheduled performance as much as possible. However, for the artist's health and recovery, she decided to skip the Dallas concert and take a rest."

 

The agency added that Winter had been experiencing symptoms of poor health even before the group's Miami concert but took part because she wanted to perform onstage with the other members.

 

The Dallas concert was held with the remaining three members -- Karina, Giselle and Ningning.

 

aespa is currently on its fourth world tour, "SYNK : COMPLaeXITY," which spans 25 locations across North and South America and Europe.
