SEOUL, Oct. 20 (Yonhap) -- Amorepacific's Mamonde has relaunched its "Creamy Tint Color Balm" to mark the 10th anniversary of its launch, upgrading its formula, ingredients and colors.

First introduced in 2016, the Creamy Tint Color Balm became a signature lip product for Mamonde, gaining popularity as a "national tint balm" for its comfortable feel and vivid color payoff. It has sold more than 10 million units cumulatively. 

The product was discontinued during the brand's rebranding process, but customers continued to request its return. In response, Mamonde has brought it back while retaining the strengths of the original and upgrading its formula, ingredients and colors.

The newly launched Creamy Tint Color Balm retains the soft feel of the original balm-type formula while being improved to glide on smoothly without clumping. A single application creates a natural look without harsh lines, while repeated applications allow users to adjust the color intensity from subtle to vivid.

The product also contains moisturizing ingredients, including flower extracts, shea butter and ceramides. Its portable crayon-type design makes it easy to complete lip makeup anytime and anywhere.

The Creamy Tint Color Balm comes in six shades. In addition to the signature "Velvet Red," Mamonde has added five new colors reflecting recent customer preferences and lip makeup trends: "Chilling Cherry," "Rosy Taro," "Peach Nuts," "Healthy Rose" and "Mellow Rose," the latter being an Olive Young-exclusive shade.

Mamonde is also launching the "Creamy Tint Prep Balm," which smooths and prepares the lips before applying lip makeup. Designed to help achieve an even color application, it can be used together with the Creamy Tint Color Balm as well as for various lip makeup looks, including blurred and glossy lips.

Based on more than 30 years of research into flower-derived ingredients, Mamonde applies its "Hyper-Flora" technology, which combines flower-derived ingredients with high-performance skin care formulas, to its skin care products. Centered around its signature "Rose Liquid Mask," the brand has continued to introduce skin care products designed to smooth the skin for better makeup application.

The latest products are also designed to provide lip hydration and a comfortable feel while delivering natural-looking color, showcasing Mamonde's differentiated product lineup spanning skin care and lip makeup.

The Creamy Tint Color Balm and "Creamy Tint Prep Balm" will be available at Olive Young stores and online starting Oct. 20.
