SEOUL, August 22 (Yonhap) -- Girl group Blackpink’s new song “Pink Venom” music video recorded 90 million YouTube views in 24 hours, its agency YG Entertainment said on Tuesday.

According to YouTube, “Pink Venom” was watched around 90.4 million times in 24 hours.

This is a world record for female artist in “views in 24 hours” category and renewed their “How You Like That” record which was viewed 86.3 million times.

When music video for “Pink Venom” was released, simultaneous users were 2.59 million, the biggest number for K-pop girl group.

This music video, reaching 100 million views in 29 hours, is still maintaining its top place as the “most watched video” for four days. It also has been holding down the top spot world’s biggest music streaming platform Spotify’s “Top Song Global” chart for 3 days.
