SEOUL, July 22 (Yonhap) -- K-pop queen BLACKPINK's music video for "Ice Cream" has exceeded 600 million views on YouTube, the K-pop act's agency said Thursday.
The music video made the record at 8 p.m. Wednesday, according to YG Entertainment.
It is BLACKPINK's 10th music video to hit 600 million views, allowing the quartet to break most of the records set by most K-pop girl groups.
"Ice Cream," released last August, is a bubblegum pop music that features cute and lively charms unlike BLACKPINK's previous hip-hop-based songs.
Pop star Selena Gomez made headlines by featuring in both the song and the music video.
After "Ice Cream" was released, it ranked No.13 on Billboard's main single "Hot 100" chart, the highest position for a K-pop girl group to achieve, and remained on the chart for eight weeks.
