SEOUL,
Aug. 11 (Yonhap) --
Billboard said in a chart preview article dated Sunday (U.S. time) that the "K-pop Demon Hunters" OST ranked second behind country star Morgan Wallen’s "I’m the Problem."
The Billboard 200 ranks albums based on traditional album sales, streaming equivalent albums (SEA) converted from on-demand audio streams, and track equivalent albums (TEA) converted from digital song downloads.
The "K-pop Demon Hunters" OST earned 100,000 album units during the latest chart week, up 7 percent from the previous week and marking its highest weekly tally to date.
Debuting at No. 8 on the Billboard 200, the album has since placed 3rd, 2nd, 5th, 3rd, 2nd and 2nd, logging its third, nonconsecutive week in the runner-up position.
Billboard also noted that the album "has shown growth every week since debuting on the chart seven weeks ago."
