SEOUL, November 9 (Yonhap) -- "Street Man Fighter," which presented the intense dance competition between male dancers, ended with a view rate of 1.3%.

According to Nielson Korea, on November 9, the last episode of "Street Man Fighter," which aired on November 8 at 10:20 p.m., recorded a view rate of 1.3%.

The dance crews Be Mbitious, Just Jerk, Wedemboyz, and Banktwobrothers held an intense competition showing their identities on the last episode, and Just Jerk won the final round, lifting the trophy.

Just Jerk completed the first mission "Cheers" stage with a choreography reminiscing the first meeting of the crew, and performed the second mission "Last Dance" stage with the concept of conquering the earth with dance.

Just Jerk got more than twice as many votes (92,321votes) of the votes Wedemboyz received (44,274 votes) for the live text message vote.

"Street Man Fighter" is the male version of Mnet's "Street Woman Fighter," a show that brought a dance boom in Korea last year, and it got a lot of attention even before the show started.

"Street Man Fighter" recorded a 1.3% view rate on the first episode, which is higher than the view rate of "Street Woman Fighter," which recorded 0.8% on the first episode. Dance challenges of the crews' creative choreographies and video clips of the dancers' performances became popular on social media.

Although the trendy choreography and the dancers' colorful performances have gained great popularity on the Internet and in social media, it is a relatively disappointing performance when looking at viewers' responses and ratings.

"Street Woman Fighter" started off with a view rate of 0%, showed a steady rise, and ended with a view rate of 2.5% at last, on the other hand, "Street Man Fighter" could not get over the view rate of 1%.

Some audience criticized that the provocative presentation of the show was too much.

The production team raised tension with provocative vitriol and beeping swears.

In the process of capturing the structure of the conflict, the dance competition video that should be shown was briefly edited, and it was also edited announcing that it would be released on the official YouTube channel.

Chief Producer Kwon Young-chan (CP) was criticized due to the sexist opinion he expressed during the press conference held before the show started.

CP Kwon said, "If female dancers were jealous and greedy, the audience will be able to see how male dancers confront each other with loyalty and pride," drawing criticism that it was a gender discrimination statement that goes against the times, and some argued that they would boycott "Street Man Fighter."
