SEOUL July 16 (Yonhap) -- Recently, as the cases of coronavirus infection significantly increased in the greater Seoul, one by one public music performances are being canceled or postponed.
From the 12th, all performances held in stadiums unregistered for performances, parks are strictly banned due to the implementation of social distancing level 4 on capital area. Though performances in legally permitted facilities are allowed under the condition of conforming to quarantines.
Under these circumstances, Ha Sung-woon, now a singer-songwriter and formerly was a main vocal of boy band Wanna one, had to indefinitely postpone his concert which was scheduled at KSPO Dome(Olympic Gymnastic Arena) in Songpa District this 24~25th.
His management agency, StarCrew Ent, announced that "Due to the elevation of social distancing to 4th level, we inevitably had to make an indefinite postpone on our Seoul performance." on the 16th.
'Miss Trot 2', a trot audition program, was planning to welcome its audience at the Olympic Hall in the Olympic Park but had to suspend its schedules on the 23~25th.
The Producer ShowPlay said, "Considering your safety, we thought that Seoul concert would be difficult."
Also girl group Brave Girls, the legendary group who had miraculously climbed back up the chart, had to cancel its first offline fan meeting since debut which was to be held in KBS Arena Hall in Gangseo-gu, on the 25th.
Brave Entertainment, their agency, announced to "cancel all offline performances and would meet our fans through live broadcasts at CGV theaters and online streaming."
Boy group Seventeen, well known for all 13 members' strong vocal and dance performances, decided to cancel their offline fan meeting at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Songpa-gu on the next 6th to 8th and only stream online.
Though this fan meeting was initially planned to be conducted partially offline by accepting only a certain number of on-site audiences through a draw and streaming the whole event at the same time.
Trot singer Namjin canceled his solo concert which was to be at KBS Arena on the 24th.
In the non-metropolitan areas where social distancing is on the second level, performances under the size of 5,000 people are legal. Public performances have informed the audiences in non-capital regions that they would normally have their concerts.
Ha Sung-woon, who postponed the Seoul concert, will hold performances in Gwangju, Daegu, and Busan as planned.
Na Hoon-a will be carrying on with planned schedules for 'Na Hoon-a Again Tes Bros' solo concert performances in Daegu but in the size of 4000 audiences for 3 days starting from the 16th.
Yes24, the booking site for the concert, sent text messages to the ticket buyers for the 16th on the the day before(15th) and informed them that "the concert will be conducted under strict compliance with the quarantines and social distancing."
