SEOUL, Aug. 6 (Yonhap) -- Lee Min, member of the female R&B duo As One, has passed away at the age of 47, according to the music industry on Wednesday.
Lee was found dead on the afternoon of Wednesday, and police are currently investigating the cause of death. “It is true that Lee Min has passed away,” a representative from her agency, Brand New Music, confirmed. “However, the exact circumstances are under police investigation.”
Born in 1978, Korean-American Lee Min debuted in 1999 with As One’s first album “Day By Day.” The duo gained popularity for their sophisticated pop-inspired vocal style and smooth harmonies, delivering hits such as “Only You Don’t Know,” “Day By Day,” and “Want and Resent.”
As One continued to perform actively, releasing their latest single “Happy Birthday” in June this year.
