SEOUL, July 9 (Yonhap) -- K-pop rising girl group aespa performed their latest title track “Girls” for the first time on broadcasting company ABC’s “Good Morning America 2022 Summer Concert Series” on July 8 (US time).
According to aespa’s agency, SM Entertainment, aespa was the first K-pop girl group to perform at the “Good Morning America 2022 Summer Concert Series” which took place at Rumsey Playfield located in the Central Park Manhattan New York.
Aespa performed their debut track “Black Mamba” followed by their pre-release track “Life’s Too Short”, “Illusion”, their hit “Next Level” and the title track of aespa’s 2nd mini album “Girls” throughout the concert.
“It is nice to meet our fans, face to face, and your energy and the vibe here is amazing.” aespa’s Winter expressed her feelings during the concert.
Aespa’s member Ningning announced “It has been my dream to see the the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, we are honored and lucky to have had the chance to debut through the live stage of Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April.”
“Thank you for all the love and support shown by our loving fans. We have made it this far only because you guys where there with us.” adding “ we will strive forward to provide our fans with better music and better performances.” aespa’s Karina thanked their fans for all the achievements they have made along the way.
