SEOUL, Aug. 2 (Yonhap) -- Hyolyn and Da-som, former members of SISTAR, the "original" summer queen girl group, will reunite together and release their new project song.

The new song sung by Hyolyn and Da-som will be released on Aug. 10 as part of the "How to Spend 2021 Well" project, according to CONTENTS LAB VIVO on Monday.

The former K-pop idols decided to participate in "How to Spend 2021 Well" because they sympathized with the purpose of the project, which was to support the public who are having a hard time by donating the profits made from the music.

The photo, released on Instagram, shows Hyolyn and Da-som wearing sunglasses and sleeveless tops, which gives off a hot summer mood.

The four-member group SISTAR, which debuted in 2010, was loved for their summer dance songs such as "So Cool," "Shake It," "Touch My Body," and "Loving U," but decided to disband in 2017, leaving fans and the public feeling saddened.
