SEOUL, Dec. 14 (Yonhap) -- Actress Shin Hyun-bin, who played Jang Gyeo-ul, fellow in general surgery in "Hospital Playlist," has been tested positive for COVID-19 infection, her management agency Yooborn Company announced Tuesday.
After being informed a close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case on the 13th, she took the PCR test but the results were unclear. But her second test sample was resulted positive.
The actress received 2nd vaccination in November and has been regularly taking tests for the infection.
“Shin does not show health issues but has cancelled all schedules and is following the government authorities’ guidelines,” said the agency.
As confirmed cases are flooding ahead of the-end-of-year ceremony where actors, entertainers and singers will gather in one place, the entertainment scene is getting tense.
Earlier, singer and entertainer Yoo Hee-yeol and MC Yoo Jae-suk were each tested positive for the infection on the 11th and on the 13th.
