'Avatar 2' tops 10 mln admissions in S. Korea

The sequel to James Cameron's 2009 sci-fi blockbuster "Avatar" surpassed 10 million admissions in South Korea the same day after it was released on Dec. 14, becoming the first foreign movie to reach the milestone since the COVID-19 pandemic began, according to data from the Korea Film Council.
