2 firefighters trapped in factory while trying to put out fire
MUNGYEONG, South Korea, Jan. 31 (Yonhap) -- Two firefighters were trapped in a factory while trying to put out a fire Wednesday, local authorities have said.
The firefighters got trapped while working to extinguish a fire that broke out at a factory in Mungyeong, 140 kilometers southeast of Seoul, at 7:47 p.m., according to the authorities.
Other firefighters were trying to put out the fire and rescue the trapped firefighters.
Prime Minister Han Duck-soo also ordered related authorities to "put in all out efforts" to rescue the firefighters.
The cause of the fire has yet to be known.
