Helmsman accused of grounding ferry appears for questioning
The helmsman (C) accused of accidentally grounding a ferry off the southwestern coast earlier this week appears for questioning at the Gwangju District Court's Mokpo branch, some 310 kilometers south of Seoul, on Nov. 22, 2025. The Indonesian national in his 40s apologized to the passengers that were aboard the 26,546-ton ferry at the time of the accident.
