SEOUL, Dec. 20 (Yonhap) -- South Korean football star Son Heung-min has been chosen as The Men’s Best Player in AFC 2021 by the IFFHS (nternational Federation of Football History & Statistics).
Son has been included in the list of The Men’s Best Player in AFC 2021, according to the IFFHS’ Internet website Monday (KST).
The Tottenham football star has been awarded for this category for 2 years in a row including 2020 which was announced in January this year.
Son scored 22 goals during the 2020-21 season including 17 goals for the Premier League and has recently scored his 7th goal for this season which is his 8th goal in all competitions.
Also, he recorded 4 goals for this year’s national football game and especially his first goal slammed to net during the away match against Iran in October was selected as the “Goal of the Year” by the Korea Football Association.
