'The Witch: Part 2- The Other One' surpasses 1 million cumulative viewers on 4th day of release

SEOUL, June 19 (Yonhap) -- Director Park Hoon-jung's fantasy action movie “The Witch: Part 2- The Other One” surpassed 1 million cumulative audiences on June 18, the fourth day of its release, according to the distributor NEW.

It reached 1 million cumulative audiences two days earlier than the previous work of the series, “The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion” (2018), which surpassed 1 million cumulative audiences on the 6th day of its release. The first part recorded a final audience of 3.18 million.

“The Witch: Part 2” is a story about a girl who comes out to the world after surviving alone in a devastated secret laboratory with different forces chasing after her for different reasons.

Followed by Kim Da-mi, who played the main character in the previous film, Shin Si-ah, a rookie selected by audition played the main character in this movie.
