SEOUL, June 2 (Yonhap) – S. Korean actor Lee Ji-hoon will make a screen comeback in six years.
Lee will lead the movie “Blind Date: Untact Love(translated),” according to the agency K1 Entertainment on Thursday.
The film, which is a remake of a namesake French movie released in 2015, is a romantic comedy that depicts the story of two neighbors living with one wall between them.
A sensitive game developer and a pianist who plays the piano all day long appeared in the original movie, but the Korean remake portrays the story of an unknown singer and his neighbor.
Lee plays the role of an unknown singer Do-bin and plays the youth living through hard times.
It is directed by filmmaker Lee Woo-cheol of “The Hunt”(2016), and it will start filming in August and will be released next year.
