Touchable art exhibition of Vincent Van Gogh to kick off in April at Chung Nam Dae

SEOUL February 25 (Yonhap) -- One of the most well known impressionist artist in the world Vincent Van Gogh from Netherland’s art pieces will be viewed to public at the Chung Nam Dae, also known as former presidential vacation home located in Cheongju city within North Chungcheong province.

According to the North Chungcheong province on Thursday, Chung Nam Dae has been selected as the final candidate for the “2023 support project for revitalization of exhibition spaces” by Korean Arts Centers Association shortened as KOCACA.

KOCACA will showcase an exhibition on Vincent Van Gogh at Chung Nam Dae from April through June.

Although the exhibition will featured the exact replicas of the paintings however, visitors will not only be able to see the mesmerizing artworks done by Vincent Van Gogh but also be able to feel and touch the paintings itself.

Visitors will be able to walk the path of one of world’s greatest painters to live throughout the exhibition.

However, it is unclear how many of the replicated paintings will be featured at the exhibition.

In order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of publically opening its place to people Chung Nam Dae is planning on their upcoming exhibition regarding one of the impressionists Claude Monet, and Auguste Renoir.
