SEOUL, June 30 (Yonhap) --South Korean singer Kim Ho-joong is returning back to the music scene with his latest classic album next month.
Through major streaming platforms Kim Ho-joong is releasing his 2nd full album “Panorama” on July 27 at 6 p.m. announced his agency Think Entertainment on Thursday.
This will be his first album after being discharged from his military.
It has been a year and 7 months since he last released a classic album “The Classic Album”. When his 1st classic album dropped, more than 500 thousand copies were sold drawing a lot of attention within the market.
Upcoming album will contain songs about him greeting his friends, loved ones, and fans. From traditional operatic songs to cross over of ballad and Latin music total of 16 songs which share the root of classic music are included in his second album.
According to Kim Ho-joong’s agency, a collaborative piece between Choi Baek-ho and Kim Ho-joong will also be included in his upcoming album.
The title of the album will be both "Jumadung" and “promise” which was partially produced by well known pianist Yiruma.
“The album cover shows a mixture of paint waving through Kim Ho-joong’s face expressing his motivation to provide various genre of music to his listeners.” announced Think Entertainment.
Kim Ho-joong rose to his fame after taking 4th place at a famous Korean Trot (Korean genre of music) singer survival TV show Mr. Trot by TV Chosun.
Due to his history of performing as an operatic singer he was given a nick name of “Trovarotti” by his fans which is a combination of word Trot and very well known Italian operatic tenor Pavarotti. After appearing on the TV show he released a remake of “you and me”, “I love you more than me”, “Grandma” and more.
