SEOUL, Sept. 10 (Yonhap) -- The new song "Pink Venom" by K-pop super girl group Blackpink has remained on the UK's official single Top 100 chart for three consecutive weeks.
According to the latest chart released on the 9th (local time), the song ranked 40th, down three notches from 37th last week.
"Pink Venom" is a hip-hop genre song that highlights BLACKPINK's unique charisma. Starting with a traditional Geomungo sound intro, it is a song that conveys the charm of the four members well with its sleek rap and catchy vocals.
Last month, BLACKPINK performed "Pink Venom" at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMA), a major music awards ceremony in the United States.
The song debuted on the UK's official single Top 100 chart at No. 22 last month.
