SEOUL, Dec. 7 (Yonhap) -- Tottenham Hotspur, which includes South Korean footballer Son Heung-min, has been hit by the COVID-19 pandemic as several members test positive for the virus.

Football London, a British media outlet, said Monday (U.K. time), "Tottenham boss Antonio Conte's plans have been thrown into disarray by a number of players and coaching staff testing positive for Covid."

Tottenham is currently scheduled to play against French club Stade Rennais FC for the Europa Conference League on Dec. 10 and Brighton & Hove Albion FC on Dec. 12.

The club's official announcement regarding the COVID-19 situation has yet to be made.

Football London added that before any decision can be made over what will happen next, the people who have tested positive will undergo a further PCR test on Tuesday.

In October, Tottenham had two players test positive for COVID-19 due to test errors. At the time, Son was classified as a COVID-19 confirmed case, but further analysis confirmed that the results of the two tests were wrong.
