SEOUL, Oct. 1 (Yonhap) -- Jo Yu-ri, a previous member of the project girl group IZ*ONE, will debut as a solo artist by releasing her first single.
Jo Yu-ri's single "GLASSY" will be released on the 7th, according to the singer's agency Wake One Entertainment.
The upcoming single will be Jo Yu-ri's first solo activity since IZ*ONE disbanded in April. The title of the single is a combination of Yu-ri's name, which also translate to 'glass' in English, as well as the suffix 'Y.'
"We will prove Jo Yu-ri's mature music and potential with this single, which contains the clear glass-like charm of Yu-ri," the agency said.
The lead track, which is also titled "Glassy," was produced by Park Woo-sang, who has also worked with top female solo singers such as IU, Hwasa, and Chungha.
In addition, the single includes "Autumn Box," a duet song recently released with SG Wannabe Lee Seok-hoon and "Express Moon," a medium tempo song with a romantic atmosphere.
