SEOUL, Nov. 23 (Yonhap) -- To commemorate their 20th anniversary, CNTV, a cable channel specializing in historical dramas, will air a special documentary, "Before It's Too Late," on November 25.

The trilogy "Before It's Too Late" tells the story of displaced people who were forcibly drafted into Sakhalin, Russia, via Japan in the Japanese colonial era but failed to return to their homeland even after independence.

The first episode, "Past," will talk about the history of forced conscription; the second episode, "Present," will look at the lives of the first and second generations of Sakhalin Koreans; and the third episode, "Future,"  will go through why people should remember the lives of Sakhalin Koreans and inform and teach about them to the next generation.

It will air every Friday at 11:40 a.m. for three weeks starting on December 25.
