SEOUL, Sept. 17 (Yonhap) -- NewJeans’ debut single “Attention” has surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform, the group’s agency, ADOR, said Wednesday.
As of Sept. 15, the track, one of the triple title songs from the group’s debut album, had been streamed 500,076,255 times. It marks NewJeans’ fifth song to reach the 500 million streaming milestone.
Released in August 2022, “Attention” swept charts upon release with its catchy, rhythmical intro, sophisticated beat and the members’ refreshing vocals.
NewJeans now has 15 songs with more than 100 million streams each on Spotify. The cumulative streams of all their released songs have surpassed 6.7 billion.
