BUSAN, Nov. 3 (Yonhap) -- The 15th International Busan Contents Market (BCM) will open its platform for exchanging contents from broadcast·video industries over the world for 10 days starting from Wednesday.
Under this year’s theme, “Connecting the world through contents,” about 400 companies from around 40 countries will attend the event on and offline.
From the 3rd to the 12th, online events will be held through BCM website (ibcm.tv) and offline schedules will take place at the Convention Hall on the 1st floor of Busan Haeundae BEXCO between the 10th and the 12th.
BCM Market is made up of an online market that provides 3D virtual exhibition and live streaming service and an offline market that gives small businesses an opportunity to put their contents on display.
BCM Funding includes events such as counseling sessions and investment consulting.
BCM Conference dealing with OTT platform’s direction of development and the prospects of the virtual world will take place on and offline for 2 days from the 10th.
Broadcasters and OTT·video contents experts will deliver lectures about the overall and the latest trend of the industry in BCM Academy for relevant university students and people.
Also, they hold a “K-Contents Reaction Contest” selecting and awarding videos of dubs, subtitles or reviews to best react towards K-contents.
The BCM, which begain in 2007, has grown into Korea’s largest broadcast and video contents market.
