SEOUL, April 1 (Yonhap) -- Actress Jung Ho-yeon, who rose to global stardom with Netflix original "Squid Game," will appear in the music video of pop star The Weekend.
The Weekend posted a photo of the two holding hands in an elevator on his social media, Friday.
The singer wrote “out of time : tuesday,” in the post.
“Out of Time” is a track in the singer’s fifth album, “Dawn FM.”
The song has entered the Korean music chart since its release, and the photo posted by the singer captured a scene from the song's music video, according to Universal Music.
The Weekend also posted a photo last October of Jung Ho-yeon, who appeared in the "Squid Game.”
At that time, Jung, who confirmed this, posted a picture of his post on her social media, drawing fans' attention.
Universal Music said, "The music video featuring Jung Ho-yeon will be released on April 5 local time in the United States.”
The Weekend, a world-renowned pop star from Canada, drew attention for its various music, including the R&B genre.
The singer has won the Grammy Awards three times, and “Blinding Lights,” released in 2020, is considered the longest-stay song on the U.S. Billboard's main single chart, Hot 100.
