SEOUL, July 27 (Yonhap) -- Namhae county, Gyeongnam announced on Wednesday that the "Sangju Silver Sand Beach Summer Festival," one of the representative summer festivals in the region, will be held from August 4 till August 6 after three years.
On August 4, the first day of the event, the trot singer Park Siwon and K-pop dance group "Honey Buzz" will appear, and a 7080 retro musical party and an electronic dance music (EDM) party will be held.
At 9:30 p.m., a drone and firework show will be held to further enhance the atmosphere of the festival.
On August 5, various performance teams including the cheerleader team Victoria, K-pop dance group Pink Bling, and retro dance group Happiness will decorate the stage.
As the last event of the day, the Delight laser show and a percussion performance will decorate the night sky of the beach.
On July 6, the last day of the event, there will be a magic show, Haeundae's famous "Superman Oh Jang-wook Juggler Show," an EDM dance party and many more.
Additionally, eight food trucks will also be settled near the festival venue.
A local group has prepared 6 booths including a booth which sells pork roasted with Namhae garlic, and a draft beer sales booth will also be in operation, adding to the richness of the festival.
"As this is a summer festival held in the bay of Sangju Silver Sand Beach Summer Festival, we will do our best to make sure that the visitors feel comfortable," said an official from the county.
