SEOUL, July 24 (Yonhap) -- South Korean drama aired on every Friday and Saturday, from South Korean broadcasting service SBS, “Why Her” starring Seo Hyun-jin as charismatic lawyer, successfully concluded the drama with the last episode hitting over 10 percent on the viewing rate.

According to the Nilsen Television Audience Measurement Company on Sunday, the last episode of “Why Her” which aired on July 23 at 10 p.m. attracted total of 10.7 percent watch rate which is the highest rate, drama “Why Her” has ever hit.

“Why Her” received positive feed backs from its audiences by realistically portraying the confrontational structure of justice and unjust and by leading up those structures with intense tension..

Unlike most of the protagonist characters which suffer due to their soft heart, protagonist Oh Soo-jae who tries to take the stand with the truth portrays straight mindedness, and traits of intelligent lawyer against antagonist Choi Tae-kook, lead the increase in tension providing audiences with fun episodes.

South Korean actress Seo Hyun-jin who acted out character Oh Soo-jae embodied characteristics of flawless and success lawyer audiences to focus more into the drama. Also actor Heo Jun-ho who acted out Choi Tae-kook acted out an antagonist character who tries to rule the world with an Iron fist very realistically, therefore the tension created between protagonist and antagonist made confrontational structure of both sides very distinctive.

Starting from the beginning of “Why Her”, character Park So-young’s suspicious, extreme act pushed protagonist Oh Soo-jae into the corner, throughout the drama the story line introduced numerous cases to flip the positions in a fast pace, which successfully grasped viewers interest.

However, entering the second half of the drama, the romance line between Oh Soo-jae and Gong Chan acted by Hwang In-youp, who first encountered one another as a public defender and a client, falls in love with one another at law school as a professor and a student, received handful of critical comments due to lack of relevance.
