SEOUL, Jan. 26 (Yonhap) – The theater version of the epic South Korean animated movie and television series “Dooly the Little Dinosaur” will be revived on the screen to commemorate the 40th birthday of Dooly, according to distributor WaterHole Company.

Returning after 26 years, “Baby Dinosaur Dooly: Ice Star Adventure” (1996) will be screened again in theaters in May, remastered in 4K this time.

The film depicts the adventure of Dooly, a baby dinosaur with magical powers, who sets off to find his mother on a time machine with his friends Hee-dong, Douner, Ttochi, and Michol. Dooly is one of the best-known Korean cartoons and animations created by comic artist Kim Soo-jung.
