SEOUL, Jan. 24 (Yonhap) – South Korean rookie girl group LE SSERAFIM will appear on the Japanese TV Asahi music program “Music Station” for the first time on Jan. 27 after dropping the group’s first Japanese single, according to the group’s agency Source Music.

The Japanese program “Music Station” has been acknowledged as the most reputable and esteemed prime-time music show in Japan for 37 years since its first show aired in 1986. Prior to making an appearance in this show, the quintet will drop the Japanese debut single “FEARLESS” on Wednesday and will be targeting the local market in earnest.

The single will include a total of three songs, including the title track of the same name, the Japanese version of “Blue Flame,” and “Choices.”

The rookie group is also planning to appear on another Japanese music broadcast, TBS “CDTV Live! Live!,” on Jan. 30.

In the meantime, the five-piece group’s second mini-album title track “ANTIFRAGILE” sat on the “Weekly Top Song” chart of Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform, as No.104, entering the chart for 13 consecutive weeks.

The song has been topping 15 national charts, hitting No.6 in Korea, No.11 in Singapore, No.29 in Taiwan, and No.31 in Japan.
