SEOUL, January 4 (Yonhap) -- The three-part documentary "Three Wars," produced by former JTBC anchor Son Suk-hee, will be aired on January 25.

The three episodes of "Three Wars" will be sequentially aired at 8:50 p.m. starting from January 25 to 27 for the New Year, according to JTBC on Wednesday.

"Three Wars" took one-year program to be produced by former anchor Son, who returned to the scene. He traveled to 11 countries, including the Arctic Ocean and Ukraine, for the documentary.

Part 1 'Winter War' sheds light on the Russia-Ukraine war and predicts future changes in world law. The episode will look at what South Korea's choice is between Japan, which seeks to transform itself into a "warable country," and North Korea, which is strengthening its strong nuclear armament strategy.

Part 2 "Traps of Thucydides" deals with the intensifying hegemony battle between the U.S. and China after the outbreak of the coronavirus. The third part, "The Last Day, Svalbard," introduces the Svalbard Islands, the northernmost land where humans live, examining whether humanity can cope with the climate crisis.

Producer Choi Sam-ho and writer Jang Yoon-jung, the producers of SBS TV's "Investigating Documentaries" and "KkoKkomu," who moved to JTBC, participated in the program.
