SEOUL, May 5 (Yonhap) – A superhero genre “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (Doctor Strange 2)” attracted more than 1 million viewers within a day of release.

According to the data from the Korean Film Council (KOFIC) on the 5th, “Doctor Strange 2” attracted 710,000 viewers on the day of its release, and hit 1 million viewers this morning.

It is the fastest pace since the pandemic. "Spider-Man: No Way Home," which was released in December last year, also exceeded 1 million cumulative viewers on the second day of its release, but the number of audiences on the first day was 630,000 people.
