'Visiting Museum Concert' at Daegu National Museum to be held today

SEOUL, July 2 (Yonhap) –- Daegu Concert House will be holding a "visiting museum concert" at the Daegu National Museum at 2 p.m. on July 2.

This event was planned with the purpose of making it easier for the citizens to enjoy the culture in various places of their daily lives.

Various performances including folk songs, film music, songs, and concertos will be presented by local musicians including soprano Kang Dong-eun, tenor Kim Dong-nyeok, and Polonia ensemble (violin Ham Yun-hye,Lee Seo-eun, viola Jo Hye-yeon, cello Park Min-hye, piano Jung Ji-gyo).

The performance will be free and no reservations are required. However, the performance will be limited to 100 seats.

Director Lee Cheol-woo of Daegu Concert House said on Tuesday, "I hope it will be a place where the citizens can feel the excitement of classical music."
