SEOUL, July 6 (Yonhap) -- The National Museum of Korea is hosting the "Conversation with the Curator," an exhibition commentary program every Wednesday at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
At 7 p.m. on Wednesday, at the Seohwagwan hall, one will be able to appreciate the landscape paintings of Gyeomjae Jeongseon (1676-1759) while listening to its explanations.
There will also be an exhibition explaining about our ancestor's summer through fans and paintings of butterflies that are believed to have been painted in the 19th century under the theme of "Summer with Fans and Bamboos" at 7 p.m. on July 20 in the same exhibition hall.
A commentary program will also be operated for the special exhibition, "Aztecs."
In the special exhibition room, the curators will exhibit major exhibits to visitors and provide useful information about the Aztec civilization every Wednesday from 6 p.m. till 6:30 p.m.
Apart from that, commentary programs will be available under the themes of "Safe packing and storage of collections," " Stone Seated Buddha in Samneunggye Valley of Namsan Mountain, Gyeongju," and "Earthenware, the first invention of mankind."
A separate reservation process is not required and anyone will be able to participate "Conversation with the Curator."
