SEOUL, Jan. 9 (Yonhap) -- A court on Friday postponed the hearing on the sentencing request for former President Yoon Suk Yeol over his 2024 declaration of martial law to next week.
The bench at the Seoul Central District Court said it would schedule an additional hearing next Tuesday to hear the sentencing request of special counsel Cho Eun-suk.
The bench announced the decision during what was supposed to be the final hearing of Yoon's trial on insurrection charges.
