SEOUL, May 9 (Yonhap) -- Will Youn Yuh-jung, Lee Seo-jin, and Na Young-seok captivate the viewers once again?

tvN’s entertainment show “Unexpected Journey,” which aired for the first time on May 8 at 10:50 p.m., recorded 4.7% viewership according to rating research company Nielsen Korea, Monday.

The first episode of “Unexpected Journey,” which depicts actress Youn Yuh-jung’s activities in America, shows actor Lee Seo-jin joining Youn's schedule as a manager.

Youn, who won an Oscar last year and participated in this year’s ceremony as a presenter, filled her busy schedule such as promoting the Apple TV+ original series "Pachinko."

In the meantime, Youn showed her continued efforts to exercise and take vitamins every morning for her health and prepare writing her answers down by hand ahead of an English interview.

In the process, Lee filled up the food he wanted to eat when he went shopping, woke up late in the morning and drank juice, and made the viewers laugh by being fired by Youn after the first day.

The show also created a peaceful atmosphere by portraying the friendship of Youn and Lee who collaborated in “Youn’s Kitchen” and “Youn’s Stay,” with the television producer Na Young-seok, who captured the two actors on camera.

“Unexpected Journey,” was filled with the Oscar-winning actress’s stories and charms as she reminisced the days living in LA by saying, “I didn't like it because the sun was so bright regardless of my feelings," and when she shared an episode of buying a dress to wear at the Cannes Film Festival.

Meanwhile, MBC TV’s “Where Is My Home,” which aired on the same day recorded 4% in viewership, and KBS 2TV’s “Operation Time” (translated) recorded 1.6%.
