[Moment to Focus] Gwanghwamun Square ahead of street cheering for World Cup match of South Korea vs Uruguay

Seen here is Gwanghwamun Square in downtown Seoul on Nov. 23, 2022. The Seoul city government decided the previous day to accept the football cheering squad Red Devils' request to be able to root for the South Korean World Cup squad at the square. Earlier, the city government banned outdoor cheering in consideration of the Itaewon tragedy. Such cheering under strict safety measures will also be seen in 11 other places across the nation on Nov. 24, when South Korea will confront Uruguay in a Group H match. (Yonhap)
