SEVENTEEN vocalists DK, Seungkwan to debut new unit with mini-album

SEOUL, Dec. 17 (Yonhap) -- SEVENTEEN’s main vocalists DK and Seungkwan will form a new unit and release their first mini-album, “Soyagok,” on Jan. 12 next year. 

According to Pledis Entertainment on Wednesday, DK X Seungkwan unveiled a trailer video for “Soyagok” on HYBE Labels’ official YouTube channel.

The album title, meaning “a love song sung at night,” reflects the duo’s storytelling approach to the process between meeting and parting, expressed through their own emotions and perspectives.

The album captures various moments of love, including weariness, misalignment and new beginnings.

DK and Seungkwan have previously showcased their vocal abilities through SEVENTEEN’s group albums as well as solo tracks and original soundtracks.
