Eurasian hobby rescued from exhaustion by Odaesan National Park

GANGNEUNG, Aug.21 (Yonhap) — On Aug. 19 a Saehorigi, officially known as the Eurasian hobby, which was found exhausted on the side of the road in the Salt River area of Yeongok-myeon, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do, is being rescued by the Odaesan National Park.

The Eurasian hobby, a member of the falcon bird family, is designated as a second-class endangered wildlife species and will be re-radiated to Odaesan mountain as soon as it finishes its recovery.
