Trump OKs S. Korea's construction of nuclear-powered submarine

Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Kang Dong-gil answers a question during a parliamentary audit at the National Assembly in Seoul on Oct. 30, 2025, one day after U.S. President Donald Trump said he has granted approval for South Korea to build a nuclear-powered submarine, adding the submarine will be built at shipyards in Philadelphia.
