SEOUL August, 22 (Yonhap) -- Hottest rookie K-pop girl group of the year, IVE is releasing their third single “After Like” aiming for their third chart topper on Monday.
According to IVE’s agency Starship Entertainment, “After Like” is a continuum of their previous track “Love Dive” which tells the listener that one who is brave enough to love should dive in without hesitation. Lovely but yet very elegant, “After Like” is a track about self loving and their confidence on love.
Title track “After Like” is an EDM, also known as Electronic Dance Music based pop house genre of music which creates colorful and flashy mood perfect for the late summer vibe.
Lyricist Seo Ji-eum known for her work with IVE on their debut track “Eleven” and “Love Dive” participated in writing the lyrics for IVE’s “After Love” and S.Korean rapper Mami Son and Rei of IVE wrote the lyrics for the rap part of the track.
Track “My Satisfaction” which is included in IVE’s third single “After Love” creates grand atmospheric impact with deep and heavy bass.
K-pop girl group IVE manages to keep their top position on the music chart with “Love Dive” which was released four months ago. IVE is considered to have come up with possibly the greatest hit song of the year.
