SEOUL, May 25 (Yonhap) – K-pop boy groups BTS and TOMORROW X TOGETHER(TXT), which belong to the same agency, have both entered the U.S. Billboard chart and showed off their popularity.
According to the latest chart released by Billboard on May 24(local time), BTS was named on a number of charts, including “Billboard Global 200,” “Billboard Global”(Excl. U.S.), “Top Album Sales,” “World Album,” and “World Digital Song Sales.”
The septet entered “Billboard Global 200” with “Butter” at 90th, “My Universe” at 100th, and “Dynamite” with 103rd.
On “Billboard Global”(Excl. U.S.) chart, the group ranked “Butter” at 61st, “My Universe” at 69th, “Dynamite” at 72nd, and “Permission To Dance” at 145th.
“Billboard Global 200” and “Billboard Global”(Excl. U.S.) rank songs based on streaming and sales in over 200 countries.
The albums that BTS has released so far have been drawing steady attention.
“LOVE YOURSELF 承 Her,” which was dropped in September, 2017, each ranked No. 3 on “World Album” and No. 24 on “Top Album Sales.” Moreover, “MAP OF THE SOUL : 7,” which was released in February, 2020, also ranked No. 4 on “World Album.”
Furthermore, the album “BE,” dropped in November, 2020, was placed at 6th on “World Album.”

Group TXT’s fourth mini album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child,” which was dropped on May 9, entered the main album chart “Billboard 200” at 4th.
The album topped several charts, including “Top Album Sales,” “Top Current Album Sales,” and “World Album.” It also ranked No. 3 on “Tastemaker” chart.
