SEOUL, Dec. 10 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy band Tomorrow X Together (TXT)'s first EP "Chaotic Wonderland" has received platinum-seller certification in Japan, an industry association said Friday.
According to TXT's agency Big Hit Music and the Recording Industry Association of Japan, the album sold more than 300,000 copies in the country as of November.
The association makes monthly certifications based on cumulative sales of single CDs and albums, ranging from gold-seller (over 100,000 copies) to million-seller (over 1 million copies).
"Chaotic Wonderland," released on Nov. 10, topped Oricon's weekly album chart and weekly combined album rankings on Nov. 22.
Tomorrow X Together is the second foreign artist to rank five albums consecutively on Oricon's weekly albums chart after BTS, according to Big Hit Music.
